The Pretata Institute of Professional Studies (PIPS) is a new college established in January 2021.  PIPS aims at being a leading creative media, Business and technology training institute offering courses at Diploma, certificate and professional level at its Nairobi Campus.

Our programmes combine high-spec technical training in creative media and technology with intensive digital and soft-skills coaching, along with a rigorous apprenticeship process, to achieve a 100% placement rate.

Free Career Guidance

Quality Guaranteed

PIPS offers practical programmes at the field of Psychology, media, technology, business and art. Students will receive high standard training in Film and TV Production, Mass Communication, Counselling Psychology, Business Administration and Business & Information Communication Technology. In addition, PIPS, its partner CTN TV and its studios form an innovative learn-and work social enterprise whereby young creative get the training, mentorship and resources they need to turn their skills into a career. 

Pretata Mode of Study

Join students at our serene and ideal college, conveniently located at Nairobi, 1 KM from CBD, along Ngara Road next to Fig tree.  We admit local and international students from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds .

There are three intakes per year; January, May and September.

PIPS’ consistency in quality training has gained confidence among community members. This is mirrored by the many referrals we get during each intake. The mode of study is full time, part–time, online and correspondence(Distance Learning).

Access to Free Career Guidance

We often come across cases where students have enrolled in certain programme but later on discover they lack interest in the particular field. Pretata Offers free career guidance and mentorship talks that aims to address crucial questions as what is a career, career types, factors that influence career choice and the various career fields to choose from. We also sensitize the students on the subject requirements for specific career fields and also clear some misconceptions have come to surround certain issues related to careers
